These two paintings have just been accepted into the show Abstract at River Arts in Damariscotta, Maine. It is juried by Dozier Bell. I owe my friend, artist Linda Packard, many thanks for taking my work and dropping it off to be juried. Over 242 entries by 110 mostly Maine artists were submitted and Ms Bell chose 85 paintings. I am honored to be included in this exhibit as Maine is my home state and inspires my work.
The show opens this Friday, 5/29 with an artists' reception the same evening from 5-7 PM and runs until June 25th, 2015. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10 - 4 and Sunday 10 - 2. I will be up Maine painting next month and will have the chance to see this show. If you are in the area please stop by.
I know that feeling, this is the best thing when your artwork got selected in some big shows or exhibitions.
